Carob is a leguminous plant of the Mediterranean origin called locust bean. It is growing in small or large groups of Turkish Mediterranean coast, Cyprus, Antalya, Mersin, Mugra. Carobe Extract is a 100% natural and healthy ingredient just boiled down its carob with time and effort. Many natural sweet taste, artificial sweetener, antiseptic, coloring etc. are not used at all. Minerals such as iron and calcium, vitamins are abundant. In local Cyprus and Turkey, Carob is widely known as vitality of the body and food from children to the elderly.

Usage | Recommended as an alternative to cocoa, chocolate and sugar. Please use it for sweets making and ice cream, topping of yogurt. When accompanied by strong fragrant blue cheese (gorgonzola etc.) it will complement each other’s taste with synergistic effect. Also, when you put it in a salad dressing , sauce or as marinede for meat it will give you a sense of taste. If you mix with tahini you can get a taste similar to chocolate. Ex: You can get a small mixture by adding 1 tablespoon of carob extract and 4 tablespoons of tahini .You can then increase this proportion according to your request. |
