ELIT Nightingale’s Nest with Pistachio 12pcs – 500g
Of baklava’s numerous variations, the romantically named dessert takes its name from its hollow and circular shape, reminiscent of the nests of birds. Filled with pistachios, baked in butter, and drizzled with syrup, it is a cute little nest of gastronomy bliss. Since Nightingale’s Nest is obtained by folding the yufka dough, it has a more unique visual elegance than baklava.
Our spinach pastry is made by layering sheets of thin hand made yufkadough with pre-cooked spinach and onion. They are then brushed with butter and baked to a beautiful golden color. Borek is best served warm by lightly toasting it and accompanied by a hot cup of chai or cool yogurt drink.
